Exceptional nature

If you are a nature lover, you will be happy with the richness of the fauna and flora which surround you. The water is omnipresent and has become a playing area for beginners of swimming, canoeing and fishing, with the possibility of capturing salmon, trout, pikes and zanders. The sceneries are exceptional! 


To learn more about these exceptional sceneries and discover all the region’s treasures, we encourage you to go hiking. Hikes, walks and strolls will be part of your schedule. Upon leaving the campsite, go on the trail of the most beautiful villages of Dordogne: Vézac, Beynac, Domme and lots more.

Exploring by bike

Upon leaving the Les Deux Vallées campsite, you can discover many on-road or off-road cycling tracks. Located a few kilometres from the campsite, do not miss the “Céou Valley” Green Lane and the Railway Green Lane between Sarlat and Souillac. To simplify your stopover, you can rent a mountain bike or hybrid bike thanks to Bike-bus which will deliver it to you on site. 

The canoe

Go and discover the Dordogne Valley by canoe and immerse yourself in the history. Canoë Découverte ) offers you a varied choice of exciting routes, ranging from 1 to 5 hours of descents of the river to the finishing point. You can have a picnic and swim along the route until 19:00. In addition, Canoë 24lets you rent a canoe, kayak and paddle boat for a descent from the River Vézère at your own pace. .

The Gabarres

Thrill yourself on the River Dordogne which serpents at the foot of the legendary Château de Beynac. Embark on board the Gabarres (traditional boats) for a peaceful ride. A few steps away, you will find the ancient port of Beynac, the departure point for the Gabarres which will take you on an incredible journey across the Dordogne. The via ferrata

Discover the Via Ferrata of the Jardins de Marqueyssac in Vézac, located just 1.5km from the campsite. Live intense moments in safety! Follow the cable and appreciate the beauty of the scenery at your own pace. The Via Ferrata des Rapaces is an acrobatic 200-metre route along the cliff, equipped with a continuous lifeline for a sensational and safe discovery. 

Family activities

Don’t miss out on the Périgord Noir aquarium which is only 30 minutes away. Also, discover three other attractions: Prehistoric Labyrinth, Big Bird and Golf. During the high season, our team organises one outing per week to Périgord Paintball , for adventurous moments. For thrill beginners, the squirrel forest near Sarlat awaits you with its 51 ziplines and 11 routes.
